MySQL Connector/ODBC 3.51.06 Production Has Been Released

MySQL Connector/ODBC 3.51.06 has been released.

It is now available in source and binary form for a number of platforms
from the Connector/ODBC 3.51 download pages located at
http://www.mysql.com/downloads/api-myodbc-3.51.html and mirror sites.

Note that not all mirror sites may be up to date at this point of time -
if you can't find this version on some mirror, please try again later or
choose another download site.

This is the first STABLE release for the feature set that has been 
frozen for version 3.51 of Connector/ODBC. Version 3.51.06 has reached a
level of stability that is appropriate for production use.

Functionality added or changed:

        * Fix for ADO when handling long text field with 0 length
        data.
        
        * Fixed an ADO/Visual Basic when using with MySQL server >=
        4.0.8 when there is a syntax error due to an error message
        buffer over flow.
        
        * Fixed a bug when dynamic cursor is used for cursor-based
        updates/deletes and when:

            - there are no key fields present in the table &
            - the schema of the table is changed.
        
        * A Fix to refresh the initialized SQLSTATEs in the driver when
        the ODBC version is changed and when multiple instances of the
        driver are loaded into to the memory.
        
        * Fixed a minor bug when bulk inserts are performed using the
        SQLBulkOperations or SQLSetPos APIs with the SQL_ADD parameter
        and wrong pcbValue is passed.
        
        * Fix to return the correct 'dynamic' cursor type to ADO when
        the cursor behavior is set to try dynamic (OPTION=32).
        
Additional notes:

* New development has been started beginning with Connector/ODBC 3.52,
which mainly aims to support the following features:

        - Binary protocol compatible with MySQL 4.1.
        - Missing features from 3.51 (descriptors)
        - Array parameter handling
        - Unicode API
